Mental Twang  Originally written as a music cue for the CBS TV show, The Mentalist. “Cherry Picked” Season 05, Episode 06.  It was a featured moment in the episode and I actually was contacted by fans of the show that loved this piece.  I’d only written 22 seconds for the show so after that response, I expanded it to a full length piece and released it on all streaming services.

Sunday In Blue  A pastoral feel in 6/8.  My goal was to have a piece to play the melody on my National Steel guitar.  I used public domain images with an impressionist style for the video.

Hand In Hand  A former guitar student of mine asked me to play for his wedding.  I composed this for the recessional.  I’m joined by local Irish fiddle player John Weed who performed his part quite beautifully here.

Beet Jam Nine  One summer I taught at a “School of Rock” like band camp.  I thought, why not get a little Beethoven into these kids heads.  After coming up with this arrangement I decided it really should have a full recorded production.

Austin Ferry Loop  You win some, you lose some.  This was also for an episode of The Mentalist.  The producer asked for music to set the scene in a Texas honky-tonk.  I thought it was perfect, but ultimately, like they say in the business, they went in another direction.
