I’m lucky to be a very busy working guitarist playing popular music from the last 5 decades. From Adele to ZZ Top, I perform my repertoire on a single guitar using the technique known as Looping.
My regular gigs each week include The Clement Monterey, an InterContinental luxury hotel located on historic Cannery Row, Bernardus Lodge and Spa, rated #1 Resort by Condé Nast Traveler, and the iconic Lodge at Pebble Beach, for guests from all over the world.
I perform annually at events such as The Tiger Woods Foundation Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach and The Concours d’Elegance, for Bentley Motors USA, Maserati, Audi USA. I also stay busy playing at events hosted by Fortune 500 companies such as Adobe, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Electronic Arts and the AT&T Pro/Am at Pebble Beach, as well as performing for destination weddings at some of the most beautiful places on the planet.
Three times I’ve been awarded the honor of being voted Best Musician on the Monterey Peninsula. In the words of Mac McDonald of the Monterey County Herald, “And I’ll say this again, John Sherry is a marvel, one of the finest guitar slingers in the area.”
